China records LED lighting exports worth US$1.59 billion in January-February 

China-based firms exported LED lighting products totaling US$1.59 billion during January-February 2015, hiking 42.3% on year, according to research organization GGII. The US was the largest market accounting for 20.7% of the export value, followed by Hong Kong with 7.1%, Germany with 4.8%, Japan with 4.5%, the UK with 3.7%, Vietnam with 3.4%, the Netherlands with 2.8%, Singapore with 2.6% and Canada with 2.2%. In terms of product types, light bulbs accounted for 9.6% of the export value, light tubes for 8.5%, projection lamps for 5.3%, light panels for 4.8%, garden lamps for 3.2% and downlights for 2.5%.
